On average, individuals served by Surf Life Executive Coaching are:
- Three times more likely to achieve their business and transition goals
Example of goals coached:
· I want to have clarity and a road map for my transition. · I want to make a decision about what to do with my non-profit. Average # months to achieve change: 4 |
- Four times more likely to achieve their work life balance goals
Example of goals coached:
· I want to be better at setting personal boundaries. · I want to be more in control of my schedule and daily life activities. Average # months to achieve change: 12 |
- Two-and-a-half times more likely to achieve their to self-management goals
Example of goals coached:
· I want to have a daily routine and task list in service to my goals. · I want to have a clear, monthly budget for the family I’m following. Average # months to achieve change: 5 |
- Twice as likely to achieve their personal fulfillment goals
Example of goals coached:
· I want to feel close and connected with my family. · I want to feel happy and fulfilled. Average # months to achieve change: 9 |
Methodology Used to Calculate Surf Life Executive Coaching Metrics
Data was used from a sample of Surf Life Executive Coaching clients served between November 2012 - June 2014. Each client established her goals at the beginning of her engagement and assigned them an initial rating using the following scale:
0 = not accomplished
10 = fully accomplished
Clients were then asked at 3 month intervals to rate progress towards each of her goals using the number scale.
A 100% increase means a client doubled her progress during the engagement or was twice as likely to achieve a set goal. (Eg. if a client rated her goal as a 4 in the beginning, and then rated it an 8 upon completing her coaching, that is measured as a 100% increase.)
The lowest and highest % changes were dropped for each category, in order to calculate an average % change for each category.
